Sarah Smith

Sarah Smith received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Armstrong Atlantic State University, in consortium with the Medical College of Georgia, in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in 2007. Sarah began working here as a Physical Therapy Technician in 2001, and has remained with the company as she obtained her degrees to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Sarah believes in a functional approach to physical therapy, combining manual therapy techniques with therapeutic exercise to achieve optimal outcomes. She has attended courses in various techniques including Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Strain Counterstrain, IASTM, the Eclectic Approach, and Kinesiology Taping. She is also a certified wellness coach. Sarah was raised, and continues to reside in, Lake of the Woods with her husband, son, and her goldendoodle, Kona. She loves to water ski, and is a coach for the Lake of the Woods Water Ski Club. She also volunteers with the Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports Foundation. She enjoys an active lifestyle, and spending time outdoors and on the water with her family.
